Approach |
If this approach is to be summed up in one statement; it will be “Combining theory with application”. Together, theory and practice form a balanced, complete system. Without application, theory can become a void intellectual exercise. Without theory; training can lose direction exposing people to a state of confusion, by dint of requisite knowledge.
Consistent with this approach, most ACISTC training events are based on interactive workshops utilizing hands – on, experiential learning and cutting edge instructional technologies. On the other hand, we in
ACISTC consider the end of any program, as the beginning of a lasting relationship. Periodical post-training meetings are held to exchange views about any problems impeding the transfer of what is learnt to the worksite. In some cases, selected articles or editorials from newest periodicals are circulated to participants.
Design of most ACISTC Programs takes into consideration the strategic needs of Arab countries as highlighted by experts during regional conferences.
